Feminization

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me about success with producing feminized seeds from an Auto flower plant by letting it flower without harvesting it? specifically I have an Auto AK so what I'm wondering is if i could harvest most of the buds leaving one or two then leave those ones behind and let them pollinate themselves that way i still can get some smoke off the plant and not have to buy any seeds next time around. anyone think this would work? or after i cut the buds off will the plant die off?

Plant won't just pollinate itself unless it hermies, in which case all bud will be seeded. They also would not be feminized. To get fem seed you need to herm a female, take its pollen, and pollenate another female with it.

You could try leaving a few small bud on there, along with as many fan leaves as possible and it MIGHT herm towards the end and self pollinate...or it could just die. Depending on where it is in it's cycle now, you could spray it with colloidal silver, which will make it herm and you can self pollinate it. Auto's are tough to work with because you pretty much are dealing with a preset time regime you need to work in. If you don't plan on doing a seed run before starting any plants, by the time you decide to, it may already be too late.

your referring to a process known as RODELIZATION (google it)
I wouldnt recommend it, your essentially stressing the plant (sinsemilla state) and waiting for it to express intersex traits (not every plant will) then your using hermi pollen to make the next generation.... not smart, especially with autos that sometimes take a couple weeks longer to finish and would almost certainly create problems for you down the road.
