Fellow Smokers

hello fellow smokers i come here today with a question. can I go to any doctor in Michigan as long as they are licensed (say for instance any doctors office) and get my Physician's Statement of Recommendation signed? The law does not state that it HAS to be a Medical Marijuana Doctor, it just says any MD or Physician.

In a theoretical world there would be not pot doctors there would just be doctors that prescribe medicine for their patients including marijuana. So the law is written in that form especially since doctor patient relationship history is going to be a big issue for recommending mmj. For now however not everyone's doctor will recommend marijuana for an array of reasons. So pot docs show up when a future patient doesn't know where to go to even to talk about it. Trying it with the family or your regular doctor is a hard hurdle to get over for a lot of people. So yes any doctor why would it be any different this is a medicine.

Most family mainstream docs are in the pocket of big pharma and won't cooperate with a mmj recommendation which is why we get stuck with $100-$200 recommendations from 'pot docs'. I wish things were different but change this big will take time for the mainstream docs to pull their heads out of their asses.

go to www.yourgreenoption.com if you live near the Southfield, Grand Rapids or Gaylord area. They were very understanding, compassionate, discreet, and friendly. You just have to sign a medical release form so they can review your medical history to verify you qualify.
