But you are growing in real soil.not coco or water.bacteria does all your work let natural selection take its course.i would just airrate your water for 50min before use bring o2 levels up and clorine down

I just use fox farm ocean forest and it has enough nutrients in it to last 60-90 days so if you don't want to use nutes you could always just veg for however long, then transplant with more fresh soil in a bigger pot before flower for a recharge. If I use nutrients with the fox farm soil I usually mix the soil with half perlite so the plants get better drainage, less nutrients since I will provide them as needed, and the better air flow through the pot means the plant up takes the water faster, growing faster, allowing me to water every other day instead of once a week. The fox farm ocean forest by itself gives me dank looking buds and using just water gives better flavor and flush. When I use nutrients I use general hydroponics "Flora Nova veg" and "Flora Nova bloom". When I use nutrients it's usually if I want more weight or if I plan to veg longer than the nutes in the soil will last. If you are thinking of using Gaia green I would say check out some videos by Mr Canucks Grow on YouTube if you haven't already. Because that is what he uses and is always talking about it. Good luck
