this thread is not to argue whos better, but to simply say why you prefer what your people!:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::weed:

I have experienced Nirvana Master Kush, Afghan, and local treats.

The Master Kush clones well, dense nuggz for 2x400 mh, and has a distinctive look/smell with a zinger high.

The afghan was dark with a b o d y b u z z.

I crossed a stout Afghan male to the MK. Will sog f1s and select for thick dark dense spice for 2nd gen. EDIT: To be honest, i do not have the time/risk to try and lock in a desired trait. I think my best option from a sog of f1 is to hope for a hybrid vigour freak. I do not know with these strains how tightly bred they are or any of that jazz, so i am just begging for something to raise an eyebrow.

I have Nirvana Traveling Thai, but am skeered to invest the time.

Thanks NYC Diesel. I thought thats what it was. As far as the Jack Herer is it a difficult strain to grow. That is one of my favorite buds to smoke and I deffinatly want to grow it.

When it comes to breeders I like a number of strains in Reeferman’s line and a number of Sagarmatha’s are very good too. I like several from Green House Seeds rather well too. A number of others are good too but I would say those are most likely my favorites, though maybe not in the order given.

For seedbanks I like Hemp Depot and Hemcy is another highly rated seedbank that I like. Both received 4 ½ stars out of a 5 star rating on Greeman’s rating site. That is the highest rating any seedbank on his site presently holds though in the past some have received the full 5 stars.

Many people here swear by Attitude Seeds so I thought I would give them a try and the email saying my order/payment had been received and shipment had been made said international orders to the U.S. take 7 to 10 working days. It has been 7 work days, well 8 if Saturday’s count, and according to today’s track and trace information my beans have not yet left the UK so I rather doubt that at least in my case I will be able to count on the 7 to 10 day delivery time. But they do have a wide selection and for the most part their prices are anywhere from being in line to being reasonable, and also some that are dirt cheap but for genetics that I would have to question due to their pricing, so if all else goes well, other than delivery time, I may add them to the list of seedbanks I would recommend.

One seedbank that I have never tried but that gets 4 ½ stars out of a 5 star rating is Peakseeds BC. I have only looked at their website but they do not seem to have much of a selection, they appear to only handle their own line of beans and not other breeder’s beans, but their prices do seem to be very reasonable and from what few strains they do offer a few do at least sound interesting.

In the past when I had access to them Dman’s line of strains they were for the most part very good. As in any breeders line some were good and some were standouts but nothing I ever purchased of Dman’s ever left me feeling disappointed.

The most difficult question to answer is what would be my favorite strain. I have tried so many and found so many to be very good that asking what is my favorite strain is like after I have eaten a bag of M&M’s asking me which out of all of them was the best.

I tend to prefer sativa or sativa dominant strains though some crosses that have a 50/50 to fairly high percentage of indica in them have been very good too.

Actually some of the very best genetics I have ever purchased came from no-name basement/hobby breeders. When the old cBay auction was up and running I found a number of really fantastic crosses there and was able to purchase them extremely cheap. A basement/hobby breeder that called himself Sweat Leaf turned out some of the very best genetics I have ever purchased and I never spent more than $20.00 for a pack of 10 beans and often would win them with a bid of $10.00 to $15.00. One cross he made was a G13 X White Russian and it was amazing to say the least. Out of 10 beans I had 8 females and they were all thick lush very heavy producing girls and when they came close to harvest time they all looked like they were covered in snow.

I had one male that was like Plantzilla, it was amazing. I posted pictures of them all on the herb site I was a member of at the time and the male got as much or more attention/reaction/responses as the females did. People wrote that they never saw a male like it and that I had to keep it for breeding. When I said I was not set up for keeping males and was going to yank it people wanted to buy it from me. The cross was extremely potent and was very long lasting and all of that came from a hobby/basement breeder.

Since I cannot give an actual favorite I will just say that almost anything that is pure sativa or almost pure sativa tops my list and then maybe AK47, White Widow, White Russian and Blueberry would be among my next favorites. Many others have been very good, some in some ways and others in other ways, so there are many great strains to pick from but for some reason those stick out most in my memory.
