Fan/circulation

Hello to all.... Im a bit confused here Iver read that you should have a fan rotating on your plants often throughout the day to mimick the wind and strengthen stem & I also read that putting A fan on them will dry out the leaves. Anyone care to clarify this??

To clarify, you want an oscillating fan blowing on the plants all the time. The leaves will not dry out as long as the plant has access to water once in a while. Whomever told you it would dry out the leaves has never grown MJ.

I have posted up info on this under the newbi section, i would also disagree with the dude above, if you blast the plants 24/7 with a fan it puts its energy into its branches, however you want it to put its energy into bud not branches, let the fan air hit a wall the plants get the air 2nd hand, a light breeze is enough and it only needs air when the lights are on, once again please look for the newbi sec, its there to help, nuff said.
p-s A gentle light breeze gives you the best of both worlds, strong branches that will support nice bud, i also pics up at (indoor grow) under bangers green room worth a look nice snaps that were put up on fri night, best of luck to you, try find the newbi sec with the HELP info.

I don't see why i would be offended, you gave the exact same advice i did. No one said to blast the plants, just have the fan blowing on them is all, same as you said.

I'd always been told moving air is good, but not direct/strong breezes. Keep the enclosure ventilated at a minimum.

no i think you want max ventilation via a proper extraction set-up.
and oscillating fans also.
