EZ cloner... Roots in water

Hello mates,

so I transplanted from soil and now the stem is very thick and roots are in the water. Plants are looking droopy.

New to hydro but know tons except this. Should roots be in water? Ez cloner is aeroponics.

I do not have air stones or air pump as it did not come with one.

I have a much larger 60 site full aeroflo hydro ssytem but just wondering.

I reduced the water level so most of the roots are not in water

Or should more of my roots be in water?

They are dropping. Posibble because of the cold night last night I had at around 18 C.

your roots shouldn't be in the water if your sprays are working .

the whole point in airopinics is the spray while the roots hang in the air.

need more info trippy ( be exact)
ppm
ph
water temp
bennies ?
air temp
how far light
humidity ?

everything and some pics :)
be exact trippy and honest:)

Oh crap, let me save you from mainliner before he has you cut all your roots.

Roots are fine in the water. If the water is only an inch or two in depth you don't even need an airstone.

However, I'm guessing that you have water deeper than this. In this case, add airstones like it was a Dwc.

EZ cloners aren't really meant to grow plants in, just for clones. If your clones roots are all the way down to the water then it's time to transplant. If you're intending on keeping them in there like a sog then just add the airstones.

PH is 6.0
PPM is 300PPM of nutrients
Water temp is 19 C
No bennies yet they are on the way.
Air temp is 23
12 inches from light
humidity is 40%

My roots are getting long and from what i know them being in the water is bad so I had to lower my water level.

Will upload some pics in the next hour.

Mate they are recovering well the stems are thick and the yellow is going away.

I can only lower the water so much mate as I have some very long roots. I really dont think they can stay in the ez any longer or I wouldnt transplant.

show some pics then trippy:)
Ok, I am getting them now. I am just wodnering if I should have some of my roots submurged or not as from what I know aero is not submurged and the instructions say to point the mister at the water for some reason. Grabbing pics now.

Will need some help on this as if I need to lower water level as some roots are submurged and fully airated

Also my rez ois around 12 - 15 C. Is this Ok? I hear the higher the temp the more root growth but more algea and potential threats? Is it better to keep it cooler and if so what is optimal?

15C? 20C?

mate they look poorly , but the roots are coming through ( on one pic ?)

a heater will lower your humidty and raise your temp.

lower your temp to 25°c this should up your humidty to about 40-45%

cross your fingers and buy an air stone /pump

goooooood luck keep updated:)
