Extending veg time

Now we all know that autos have a limited veg period before transitioning to flower.

I’ve been pondering whether one can extend that veg time.

The whole point of veg cycle is to establish a robust root system. The part we often see (green leaves) are a direct result of the rootzone.

I think I may have stumbled upon a way to increase your root mass without triggering flower!

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures but my mind did.

I had two back up seedlings in root riot cubes which got neglected. They were left out of the tent in a semi dark room and stretched to about 4 inches tall. Although they were only still trying to produce their first set of leaves.

I noticed that the cubes had about 10-15 roots all air pruned. Whenever I use the cubes in a tent soon as the tap root emerges they are potted up.

Here’s a few photos I have taken. 2 plants 1 pot
