i have some clones from a jack herer that i will be finishing flowering cycle for in febuary.
i recently heard of uvb light increasing tricrome production, and me as a big fan of bubble thought it was worth checking out.
i found some 24 watt uvb 50 t5 bulbs that fit the 2 foot sunblaze strip light fixtures i had for suplemental light during flowering

so after giving moma jack the chop i will be commencing with my experiment with the 6 clones wich will be reaching maturity and 9 shiva/nl seedlings i hatched from nirvana recently.

wish me luck.
here is a rough layout of my growbox plan.

any advice about uvb experiences woulf be greatly appriciated.

i'm trying a uvb assisted 400watt hortilux hps system
Nutes: pro grow & bloom by botanicare, GH kool Bloom, GH Floralicious plus, Botanicare Sweet (Berry), tap water ph adjusted to 5.9 - 6.2 and left out 48 hours to "cure"
i will be flushing with flora kleen between fertilizing at week 2 and week 5 to reduce salt buildups
and if the clones are like their mother i will be doing the final flush from week 7 or 8 - 9 or 10

I will be using:
power strips(surge suppressors) X2
UVB 50 T5 20" bulb X2
400 Watt Hps light system w/ hortilux bulb X1
Sunblaze strip light fixture 24" X2
sunblaze strip light reflector & hanging bracket kit X2
Shelving by design 5 shelf unit (only 2 shelves are needed per unit) X2
4" axial fans(80-110cfm) X4
oscilating fan of some sort(i use a 36" dual output tower fan)
duct tape(big roll thick sticky dark in color)
25' x 10' panda poly film
light hanging chains
Velcro tape or adhesive zipper entrance

i will assemble the shelving units with 2 shelves on each one three notches from the top and one 3 from the bottom make sure they are tight they should be able to support 200 lbs each.

fasten the shelving units together with duct tape so they are snug hang the hps from the center of the chamber

the hps will be in the direct center of the 3'X3" area with the bulb 60" above the top of the shelf below

hang the sunblaze strips with the reflectors 6" from each side toward the center of the ceiling a foot from the center of the hps and put in the uvb 50 20" t5 bulbs hang them 56" from the shelf for now they will be lowered later as i will mess around until i find out the best height since i have no idea what i'm doing with the uvb light yet. but i assume it will be 6" to 8" above the plant as i grow it. but high enough as to not block light from the hps.

wrap the whole thing in poly film and seal it with duct tape, then apply the door (to the center so I have a large free area to work with

cut holes in the ceiling for the 4 fans and set them in place and plug them into their own 24/7 power strip

cut a hole in the side and put a flap on it for the plug for the light power strip(a nice surge suppressor with high capacity) plug in the lights and plug it into the wall with a timer for 12/12 as this is a flower only setup

i will also leave the bottom open to take in air from below and have it exhaust out the top with the heat from the light.

i attached a picture of a rough diagram of the light setup.
