Well its time to expand my grow space. I currently run DWC in a 10x14 room I built. Now as my patient load is growing I need to convert a 20x30 room into a new space. I am thinking of going soiless as one of my partners has had many years of successful grows. So our plan is to divide the room lengthwise and have a veg room of 10x30 and a flower room of 10x30. I like the 10" wide because I think it is nice for light coverage. My current 10x14 will become our mother/clone room.
So heres my questions. Would we be better off running 600watt lights side by side with air cooled hoods or 1000watt umbrella reflectors. I know heat is gonna be a huge issue but through the chain of friends we have access to a central air cond systems for pretty cheap. Another great thing is I have a family member that is an electrician to ensure proper wiring. I am open to any and all suggestions as construction is a week or so off.
