Existing Grow Closet Needs RIU Help!

Morning all, I need help with lighting on my existing grow setup. I'm currently running a 400 watt hps in a closet that is 8' H x 2'6" W x 4'7" D chopped in half. My plan is to use the 400w hps for flower on top, and was planing on using the bottom half for clone/veg using T5s.

will that be enough light for both chambers?

Flower measures at 4'6" H x 2'6" W x 4'7" D

Veg measures at 3'6" H x 2'6" W x 4'7" D

ya that is a good size for a 400hps, keep your t5s close and remember they fail to penetrate past like 10"

how close can you keep t5s? this will be my first time using them. would i be better using cfl or maybe both?

i would keep it anywhere between 3-5". i keep them usually 2-5" depending on size. keep them close or else you will get stretching issues. cheers and good luck

remember that the 2 sections will have to be light tight so no light from t5s will spill up to the flower room when its dark

i will defiantly make sure it light tight. would i be better off running 2 250watt hps instead of a 400 watt in flower chamber?
