Exhaust problem

In my grow room I have a Light and a portable AC. The light is one that an exhaust hose can be attached to the hose goes from the light to a "T" one of the other sides of the "T" go to the back of the portable AC unit to remove heat. Then the top of the "T" travels into the attic to my exhaust fan which exhausts to the roof. The problem I have is that the heat from the AC unit isnt going to the exhaust fan but instead the heat is being pushed out of the light. The exhaust fan is removing some of the heat but im sure a lot of it is being blown out of the light. The room isnt getting hot it stay at 72 deg F but this is causing the AC unit to work harder than necessary. What should I do to stop the hot air from coming out of the light?

Run the T as close to the fan as possible if that don't work get another fan and seperate ducting moisture and electricity don't mix well turn it off if water is building up in your light

Ill try that. The AC also dehumidifies and stores the water in the unit so there shouldt be any water in the light and hasnt so far but ill try moving the T
