Exhaust & Oder - Suggestions APPRECIATED!

Hi all, new to the group and have enjoyed all the info on the forums. Almost information overload, lol.

Any how, I'm sure this question/topic has been brought up on numerous forums numerous times, but I just wanted to see if I could get a little advice. I did look around on the forums, but didn't see a situation that mirrored mine exactly, so figured I'd just ask.

I am contemplating a grow room in a condo (which I own) and either going to put it in my master walk in closet (5.75' w, 7.5' l) or 2nd bedroom closet (which is also a decent size, just narrow (2.5' w, 8.5' l). I undersand that you want to have the exhaust as high as possible as that's where the hottest air is. I am planning on setting up a passive intake system in which i have a whole towards the bottom of the door (i may sub plywood and take the door out...I will have the intake larger in size than the exhaust at the top of the door, which will have the fan in it), but here's my question---Where should the exhaust end up going? Out of the window? That's a possibility, but will it just permeate the air outside with AROMA? On the other hand, I could set it up so that the plants were in my master bedroom closet, pull the exhaust from the top of the door (cut a whole, or use a plywood door, etc), and have the exhaust exhale into my bathroom, which in turn has a fan (obviously). Seems to me this would almost alleivate my concerns of odor, however, would look really odd to anyone coming in to my room ( a huge exhaust looking system coming from my closet to my bedroom). I'm trying to be as stealth as possible while mininmizing odor. Please advise.... sorry for the short story, just wanted to be as specific as possible.

1.smell is one of the ways people get caught. you're going to need some kind of odor reduction approach. if you're putting in ventilation anyway, the most effective odor control is to put a carbon filter in line with your ventilation.
2. defintely out of the house if you can,

If you had a dryer vent anywhere close in the basement, you could use a 4 inch in-line blower and carbon filter to vent everything outside. Just an idea.

vent to garage, outside or to ducting that goes outside. if you vent to another room that doesn;t have its own thermostat you are going to overheat that room
