im using a spare room 1250 cf & have a few pieces on hand . a can filter 150 w/a 10" can fan. not sure if the fan is the high output.

i am going to use two 600w lights. five plants under each hood.

how big(or small) should my intake hole be . this will be passive.

how often & how long would the fan have to come on to maintain fresh air 4-10 plants

I know of a room with 1188cf, it has 2-6" 460cfm can fans on the exhaust, 2 lights per fan. It has 2 passive 6" intakes with 4kw of light. The high temp is 74.5' F day

well that can fan is around 1000 cubic ft per min. so it can exchange the air in a little under a minuite and a half.figure with the filter on it 2 minites to exchange all the air in the room.air should be exchanged around every five minuites so it just needs to be on for 2 minuites out of every five minites.
I would have my intake holes add up to the same diameter as the exhaust hole, could use a few 3" pvc tubes as intake jets and direct them so get better coverage into your room.
