Exhaust fan set up right?

From what I’ve seen (my fan/tent are coming today) in my research the best set up would be
From the inside
Carbon filter>inline fan>ducting out of tent

Now run the rest of the vent out a window or somewhere thats not into the room that holds the tent. also, if your going to exhaust, you prolly want a vent open for intake.

The side vents are meant for bringing air in from one side to cool the light and exit the hot air out the other side. Most exhaust systems are vented out of the top hole, not the sides.

They may be conceived to accommodate such fixtures but they are also perfectly suited for use as the primary exhaust port barring one is not also trying to use said fixture

Your set up looks ok. I try to mount the filter right to the fan Inlet and make sure there are NO leaks in the connection. Vent hose can get pin holes in it very easily, even one hole and your pulling unfiltered air which will smell.

I didn’t realize his filter was on the left as the intake. I was so confused how the air was being affected on the inside without the filter, but now I see it. Sorry for my blindness.
