I bought a Fan Motor Assembly for a ceiling bathroom fan and installed it in my small grow space.
The fan is 50cfm, the grow space is 3ft tall x 2ft wide, x 1ft deep. The fan is made by Nutone but I can't seem to find it online by name or model number. The intake hole is 5in round circle on the bottom left, the fan is installed blowing out on the top right..the fan requires a hole about 6in round.
Anyway..
It seems to be pushing air through the box fine but it smells like plastic, It's strong enough to sometimes smell it throughout the apartment. The fan motor is hot to the touch, but not blazing hot.
Any suggestions?
