Ever trip with a friend and experience the same hallucination?

So back in the early 80's, I was living in a dorm room with a guy and we heard there was some yellow dragon blotter going around. We located the guy and bought a couple hits. Then we went off to some party and, after awhile, we were both feeling like we got ripped off because nothing was happening. We headed back to the dorm to crash. The room had a bunk bed and I was on the top bunk. I turned off the light and the room was pitch black. A couple seconds later, I say, "Do you see that?" My buddy goes, "The pyramid?" Me: "YEAH!" We were both seeing this giant, glowing, neon pyramid in the middle of the room! Neither one of us said another word after that. It didn't do anything. It was very strange and very awesome. I've heard that sometimes, people do experience the same hallucination. What does it mean?

We went to a college campus to trip.
One of the basement window cutout we watched a football game or what the five of us thought was a football game. We talked to each other as to what was happening. Our ground control person said we carried on about the game for ten minutes. Then got distracted and off we went...

We were/are like best buddies. We grew up together...went to each other's wedding, etc. Of course, I've kinda lost touch with a lot of my old friends...or they have passed on. But, yeah, we were very close friends.

Other time was at a movie theater we were watching The Hobbit a animated early version. You could tell how many were tripping when the dragon charged out from the screen tripper were hiding behind the seats. The screams and reactions were priceless. We all had a blast.
The other wild time was a weekend long Halloween party at a college house where we all tripped

Stuff like this can get weird with psychedelics even to the point people convince there self there telepathic anyways regarding having the same experience as the others on it with you It can definitely happen however i would bet that it is more common in certain situations Vs others if you consider any peoples on the earth that use teaching plants traditionally they all have a ceremony a set a way of doing things a framework if you will well i think all that is to ground you to and through the experience but it also increases the likelihood of all those taking place to have a similar experience it helps you all be on the same level etc

People can get weird studies have show that.

A few times when we have gotten into long discussions of trips the trip feeling returns. So we don't do that often.

We did a weekend trip. Monday night I had to referee a adult hockey game, I burned a joint before the game. I was full blown tripping again. It wore off by the end of first period.

I know some folk who actually quit smoking weed and doing acid for this reason anytime they smoked that happened and not to the point it's fast ish to return to baseline like your describing it took them a while so they don't do either anymore for some people that door opens up easier than for others if even only temporarily it's definitely a area that needs more research for sure
