envirolite grow :)

Hello to all you lovely, greenfingered, red-eyed smilers out there

this is my grow so far about 5weeks in...


seeds: x2 feminised cheese lets call them (a) and (b) for now, you can sugest names if you like

lighta) 200w envirolite + reflector 19/5hrs
(b) sunlight (greenhouse, uk) hrs

medium: multi purpose compost

nutes: tomato feed (ASDA)

fan-heater used to regulate the tempriture and circulate the air in the basement for (a)


if any one has any comments words of advice or ideas please be my geust

...otherwise enjoy the ride

5th taken today 26/05/08 12 1/2inch tall

6th taken 18/05/08 of (b) in greenhouse

7th taken todat 26/05/08 of (b) about 18inch tall aprox.

pre flowers spotted whilst trimming my bush hehe

not sure when to start flowering tho
I have about 1.5m height to play with... any sugestions?

I'm a nube when it comes to growing, so what exactly do you mean when you say you've spotted pre flowers?? I've done alot of reading and haven't come across pre flowers in the Veg cycle.

Also, i've mentioned this in my journal but am wondering if you think its better to trim or not? Mine is fairly bushy at 5" tall and wonder what your thoughts are? Don't mean to thread jack.

this is my first indoor grow so i'm a bit of a noob too, but..

as far as my knolage on the pre-flower situation goes its the plant showing that its mature enough to start the flowering stage, you can spot them where the hairs (or balls) will appear when it starts flowering (thats in between the main stem and the side branches) mine look a bit like the fem hairs but smaller and green. not to be mistaken for the green thingys that grow on the side of the node.

as for triming i do cos my cheese indoors is rediculasly bushy just to let some light on the new growth sprouting from the nodes on the side branches, as a rule i prioritise newer growth. so as long as you dont over do it should be fine to trim a little.
