enuff space ???

i'm thinking of going with a hps set-up but have limited space. was wondering if anyone could tell me how far i would have to keep my plants from a 250w hps ?....400w ?

i use 250w hps and i keep mine about 12 - 18 inch just put your hand underneath the light if its hot then its to hot for your plants

thanx man, i read the same thing bout 2 hours ago. got bout 4' in my grow box. thinking of getting some strain of lowryder & vegging with my cfl's then flippin the switch on a 250w hps if i can get 1 cheap...lol

gonna redo my grow box, you know, make a few up grades.

dont forget your plants will double or triple when u flower

its all good, what i'm planning is to get some D-RYDER seeds so i should only need the 4' of space. also have room for another foot if i need it, just gotta take out the top shelf.
