entering darkened room

im just about to switch my first attempt at growing from veg to flowering , with a 18 -6 split on light it has been easy for me , but with 12 -12 and working alot of hours and just generally busy days sometimes getting in during light times will be difficult , someone told me that resting plants do not react to a low wattage blue colored light . if this is true this would be ideal for getting into work in the room at anytime

The plants do not absorb/ notice green light. This why they look green to us its those wavelengths that their pigments reflect. So stick a green bulb in there and you can do stuff during your dark period.

Green it is. I have a green lantern led light in my grow room, works great at not working on the plants lol.
