eliminating water pump vibration?

anyone else find that a small fleet of 400gph water pumps cycling every 5 minutes in rubber-maids in the upstairs sounds like a loud garage door opening in the downstairs? the floor is thin and not absorbing too much of the vibration

I've tried yoga type foam and a variety of other things including suspending the pumps in middle of reservoirs with not much success.

anyone dealt with this before and found solution?

Is it a sound problem or a vibration problem? What I mean is is the sound of the pumps themselves what you hear or is it the vibration from the pumps making secondary noise by causing rattling?

Yep its common Thing and i just live with it! But if your looking into a pump that makes no
Sound then a mini little gaint pump is for you! There a bit costly but worth every penny!
One thing dont plug them into a socket thats connected to a gfi outlet or a gfci breaker,
Will trip them everytime

It's like stero speakers - get them off the floor. Less contact, means less vibration & noise that get transfered.

Putting the res on 4-6 dense foam pads a couple of inches thick will isolate the whole thing from the floor.

definitely vibration, all is quite in the room, but there is like reverberation downstairs that amplifies everything.

thanks for the good ideas all, I'll give them a shot and if cannot solve look towards trying out mini giant or more industrial style pumps instead of the eco-plus/sunleaves hydro style

I also have noise problem, I've read that it's good to hang the pump on a hose so it doesn't touch the bucket, in my case I have to clip the hose a little bit (got GHE aerofarm), will try that today, I also think it's good to put some foam (dishwashing sponge?) under the pump. I used to have some 1" styrofoam under my subwoofer and it worked well so I will also try to use it under the bucket. peace!
