Electronics question - PC Power Supply

I've got my grow box attached to a spare PC's power supply, but the only issue is that the power supply needs to be plugged into the motherboard to actually work - which means I need to constantly have the PC on in order to use the power supply.

I've done some Googling, but am apparently searching for the wrong thing, because I can't find a way to use the power supply without the motherboard and all that.

Has anybody figured this out before who would care to lend a few thoughts?
