The fan I was going to buy is:

Ruck Inline Tube Fans - Re-Badged for Maico
(Inlet/Outlet - 125mm, Airflow - 365m3/hr)
32dB(A) @ 3m

this fan is supposed to be able to withstand a max ambient temp of 55 degrees celcius.

Another fan :

Systemair plastic in-line duct fan, RVK125 but re-badged by Fan Spares.
Bracket Included.
Voltage 230 V
Frequency 50 Hz
Phase 1 ~
Power 29.2 W
Current 0,172 A
Max. airflow 250m3/hour
R.p.m. 2 469 r.p.m.
Max. temperature of transported air 70 °C

has less pull (250m3/hr) but as stated - Max. temperature of transported air 70 °C.

When pulling hot air through a cool tube will the first fan be ok or will it burn out with the heat of the hot air its pulling through the tube???

Cheers

Mine have worked for about 2 years with no problems, even my modded stanely blower has no problem with it. But what size light are you using?
