easy to use ph meters anyone suggest one?

Hi All,,

Looking for a easy to use (noobie here) ph meter, can anyone recomend one? heard you also need calibration buffers and soulutions? too, what is this and how and what is it used for? thanks!

I use PH UP and DOWN. It comes with everything you need except for a ppm meter. (which i dont have)

The brand name is HoldALL. 3 way meter. It tests ph, soil moisture, and light level. It's CHEAP (I I picked it up at either Home Depot or Ace Hardware for under $20.00)and very easy to use, no buffers or anything. Just stick it in the soil hit the switch and it tells you what your ph level is.

I also have an expensive ph meter that has to be calibrated with a couple of different solutions. It is very accuate but a pain the ass. I tested the PH in my soil with the el cheapo holdall then I tested the same soil with the expensive little meter and guess what? I got the same readings. 6-5 ph and the moisture level in my pots are 'wet'
