Early Harvest

my mom is making me remove the plants out of my closet. my only problem is that ive only been flowering for like a month and i have nice sized little buds everywhere. The question at hand is can i smoke the premature buds if i still dry and cure them properly

You can do, but my guess is they will not have reached a very high THC level. I remember a video documenting THC levels at different flowering times, and by week 4, it was somewhere around 0.4% but quite high CBD.

This is all probably very strain/setup dependant, but I would assume its not going to be potent.

Could you not explain to your mom that the work put in, deserves just another 3-4 weeks? Tell her you respect the decision, but what about letting them complete?

I think even in 2-3 weeks you'd have something a lot better.

yeh, i`ld try to stall her. was she letting you do it and change her mind? if she was cool enough to let you start them you should be able to talk her into letting you finish. if she didn`t know and just busted you with them you have to consider how pissed she was and how she feels about weed. if she was pissed and don`t like weed, chop em before she does!

Premature buds produce a very disappointing high. I smoke em when im desperate but i try to hold off. If you don't let it finnish then it's gone to waste.

For someone with a low tolerance and no access to weed, you would get something enjoyable out of it and you wouldn't throw it away.

Yeah you can. I used to take samples off my plant usually from the lower branches when it was growing. Still would get me high, but not quite the same as a fully mature bud. Your suppose to wait until the trichomes are cloudy/milky. But if your mom wants them down, I'd probably do what she says. Or be reasonable and try and convince her, just last grow type deal. Like can you wait just a few more weeks..etc.
