Hey there peeps, im in my 5th week of flowering, plant is big bud northern lights under a 250watt cfl, in bcuzz soil with bcuzz nutes, im using cannaboost too. Ive noticed alot of the bigger fan leaves are yellowing/browning (dying?) so i snipped a few of them off, is this normal for a plant this far into flowering or is it something more sinister?

Solution to fixing a Iron deficiency
Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have potassium in them will fix a Iron deficiency. (Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients, or it will cause nutrient burn!) Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Fe or rusty water can work well. Other supplements that have Iron in them are: Iron chelates, Ferric oxide, Ferrous oxide, Ferrous sulfate, all of these are fast absorption. Greensand, Cottonseed Meal is slow absorption, Garden Manure, which is medium absorption. Manure is most common organic iron source to use.

Now if you added to much chemical nutrients and or organics,( which is hard to burn your plants when using organics) You need to Flush the soil with plain water. You need to use 2 times as much water as the size of the pot, for example: If you have a 5 gallon pot and need to flush it, you need to use 10 gallons of water to rinse out the soil good enough to get rid of excessive nutrients.

I dont think its nute burn because i havnt changed the doseage on the bottle for the last 4 weeks and its at the correct amount for the age of the plant. I reckon im about 3 weeks from harvest so what do you think i should do?

At 5 weeks into flower that is normal. The larger fan leaves are the first to go, by 8 weeks most large leaves will have yellowed and died. My Bubba Kush losses a leaf or two a day till finish!

id let them fall off naturally, what its doing is using the nutes in the leaves and when they are gone they will fall off, if you trim them off it will just start on another one....atleast thats how i think about it
