Okay so here we go with a long message mainly probably all obvious things I should know . I had a guy at a local grow place build me a cheap small system. Unfortunately when I picked it up he wasn't there to explain how to set it up . I started to try myself and suddenly something came up and I had to move out of state so I didn't get to go back and ask him how I should set it up properly. I think what I have is called a recirculating dwc with top drip feed but I'm not positive of that . I just want some of the experts to tell me exactly how to set it up . So what he gave me was 4 5 gallon buckets with net pots a ten gallon reservoir the reservoir has 4 holes drilled at the bottom evenly spaced with with things sticking out to connect the bigger hoses . I'm not sure the circumference of the hoses but 2 of them are 4 feet and 2 are 2 feet long . I know those are to connect to the adapters at the bottom of my buckets . They have holes close to the top of the bucket on the side I know that's for the airstones. On the top of the buckets 2 of them he had the smaller hoses connected to an an adapter for only one hose ( i don't know what they are called sorry ) each of those hoses were approximately 12 inches. The other 2 had an adapter in which you can hook 2 hoses to . If you pull it out it looks like a T and then the other hose he had put together. The last set of hoses he gave me was a 12 inch small hose ( which I assume goes to my submersible filter connected to a single adapter which would be L shaped connected to a 26 inch hose which connects to a T connecter and then another 12 inch hose on both sides of the T and then another L connector on both of those hoses connected to another 1 foot hose . Sorry for the rambling I will send some pictures as well to make it less confusing. Also I will be using a 4 Foot wide × 4 foot long tent . I just need expert opinions on how to set this up . Things like should I have the buckets with the T connection in front or back ? Its basically going to be set up in a square
Should all buckets be connected because the way it looked when I got it it looks like only 2 in each row should be connected? How do I manage my water level in my buckets?
