DWC buckets or a Storage tote DWC?

Hey!
I wanna build a bigger and better hydro setup and i was planning on a 25 gallon 6 pot system, but my brother keeps insisting on DWC buckets, i think the buckets sound reasonable, due to the ability to mend to an individual plant with no disturbance to the rest, and for the ease of movement. but this sounds more costly, a bubble wand where i'm at costs about 15 bucks by itself, not to mention the additional water pumps, the buckets, and all the rest of the stuff, anyways i wanna hear anyone else's opinion on the matter, and which would you prefer?

yeah them bubbles will cost ya, but i think it's well worth it!

by the way, i saw your cooler dwc system, FUCKIN' AWESOME IDEA! the strength, and it's ability to hold temperatures steady, is well worth the $50 for the cooler! +rep

go with the buckets bro!!!!!!! im tryn both right now and the storage tote is takin up more space if anything plus them gurls will drink up water like no other in the tote lol

I'm trying to decide what to build also... any good links to good DIY threads? I've looked through a lot of em, but a lot of people know of good ones that nobody has posted in in a while so they dont show up on the first few pages. I would like to see how to set up a good bucket system.

i can't find any links either, but maybe i could help you, how many buckets are you thinking? and do you want it to be a joined system or independent buckets?

Not in an Igloo. General Hydro Fiberglass tubs with 16 netpots and one service hole.

like this. And they work great for the Hydro Veggies! Look at the beans!
Not so great for the girls but I wont throw them out. Put em to good use.

and the Igloos get two plants max in flower room. These pics show one plant per cooler.
The even, uniform grow height. The nice buds. and the finished product.
