DWC Blue Dream Scrog Grow (ILGM Seeds)

Started getting ready for the next grow.

The previous grow was a single Gelato by Crop King Seeds in a 2x2.

This grow is going to be using 4 Blue Dream Seeds from ILGM.
I made a drain and refill system for this grow.
I can drain all 4 at the same time, but have to refill individually (until I feel like changing it to fill simultaneously)

Sterilized the grow room with a peroxide/dish soap/water mix and the started setting everything up.

Waiting on an inline pump, but might start the seeds before then.
I usually plant exactly what I need and have 100% germ rate (even random bag seed lol) but for this grow we will do 8 and pick the best 4.

Hopefully I can increase per plant yield to 4 ounces per plant compared to the last grow of 2 ounces per (I'm still a noob)
Being mostly sativa, she could grow very tall. I plan on doing training to minimize height and increase bud sites using the scrog method.

My pump was set to come last Monday, but my package was on one of the last stops and didn't get delivered so it was taken back to the USPS warehouse. Then they got a surge of packages and let mine get buried. Now I probably won't see it til after Christmas. Had to order another pump through Amazon who jumps hoops just to deliver your package on time.

1 seedling emerged from the rockwool 2 days ago. Waited all day for the other three and they didn't show up. The next morning (yesterday) still no signs so I forced the other three out of their shells. 2/3 I removed from shells are doing well. Waiting to see if number 3 recovers.

Next time I will not dispose of the extra germinated seedlings. I will plant all in rockwool and then make my selection from the ones that successfully emerge from the rockwool and leave the seed shell on their own.

Seeing as how it's only been about a week, I might just start over so I have four similar looking seedlings instead of 1 great, 2 good, and 1 bad looking.
I will make a decision tomorrow morning.

Still only 3 of 4 are ready and 2 of the 3 are just okay looking. So I'm restarting :( Patience is a virtue I failed to exercise on this one lol.
I only have gelato seeds so it's gelato again, but at least I know what she likes.

Let us know how your grow goes and post some photos and progress reports. I recently ordered some seeds from ILGM and while it took a few days for the payment to show paid, they shipped quickly when it did and a received them without issue. They were good as far and tracking and letting me know the status. Curious why you germinate 10 and only use 4... wish you were my neighbor! I really don't think fast germination or best tap root necessarily equates to better finished plant? I think I'd at least start all 10 and see which looked the best after 2-3 weeks or so, but hey, if it works for you. Good luck!

You are absolutely correct! I was mostly hoping best taproot might equate to that taproot reaching the res faster. I was just being impatient and failed. I had to restart the grow and didn't have anymore Blue Dream Seeds so now I'm doing Gelato by Crop King seeds again. ILGM has amazing customer service. I'm definitely going to buy more seeds from them and try again after this grow. Maybe Northern Lights cause it's one of my favorite strains to smoke. Check out my Gelato grow until then if you like!
