Dwc auto

Just about to start my first autoflower blue cheese in dwc and was wondering if I should feed from day one or just run with Ph'd water for the first week? I've done some grows in dwc before but they weren't autos and it was years ago. Any information would be greatly appreciated

For germinating until a week after the first true leaves appear, I use 1/8 of whatever the manufacturer suggests for full strength. Supposedly, the cotyledons are enough to sustain a seedling for a little while. That may be true for growing in nutrient-rich soil but it's not been my experience with hydro. I wouldn't bother with pH'ing your water until there are roots.

Yeah I thought as much, thanks for the info buddy. I'm going to be running droppers on them for now until the roots hit the water line so I'll do as you suggested

Yeah that's what I do too. 100-200ppm for seedlings. Then just bump it up a bit each time the ppm of the res starts dropping.
That's the key to hydro imo. Just keep the res ppm dropping a little. Makes the ph behave itself. Means no chance of tox problems and if you do get deficits then you know straight away they weren't caused by something else.

When you say “bump it up” does that mean add nutrients??
