Yo, i have decided to start growing again and because of limited space, i have decided to go with dwarf autoflower strain and will be using CFL's as i need to watch power usage (compared with using a HPS).
Because i dont have access to a debit or credit card atm i will be trying to source all lights and other materials need for the setup locally from garden centres and DIY stores ( i live in the UK also)...
i have been researching and it looks like the biggest wattage CFL's i will be able to get hold of are 20w but i will be planning to use around 10 of these and growing 2-3 plants from seed at a time.
is this idea a viable setup for the small dwarf plants, and enough wattage?, i will be swapping out maybe 6 of the 10 CFL's upon signs of flowering for the 2700k spectrum, and keep all 10 as 6500k for the veg period.
I have grown before but was with natural light each time and last time was around 7 years ago so i have a little experience with the growing, just not using a light system.
Any pointers would be great.
