When I was thinking of a bud dryer, I wanted to build a bigger version of Al b's but without the thermostat and all that junk. So I rerouted a the exhaust from an aircooled 400 Watt light to go straight through the bottom vents of the tent. I fortunately did have an outlet so I installed that filter exhausting the air from the tent. I was really concerned about smell. Otherwise, you could keep the tent at positive pressure and let the air "leak" out the sides.Has anyone ever dried there harvest in a tent? My plans are to frame out a tent and use a tarp to cover the framing "BUT" the area I have chosen doesn't have electricity so running a fan to move air isn't a option. I need some real good advice on what I should do .
It's one of those hanging nets. Best thing to dry in hands down. Since it's all nugs and no stems, you can manicure the individual nug instead of having to work around the stem. This system takes my buds from gooey fresh to snapping stems in 3 days time. I freezer bag for 2 days opening and closing. And into a jar it goes.StonedBlownSkiller said:that shit looks good. whats that ur harvest is drying in? Maybe install a electric outlet there if ur gonna keep the drying closet.
The air needs to cirulate period, it can not get stagnet!I guess I should of said this is and outdoor grow . I would like to do the whole harvest and dry and cure outside away from hydro and i am hoping to get some good info on how to do this .I plan on having some windows in this tent that can be opened but how can I get some good air circulation and how much is really needed .
I would have no problem getting a couple of computer fans and being able to keep them going on a battery with the open windows will this be enough air movement. The air needs to cirulate period, it can not get stagnet!
