I've read some conflicting reports about drying in the fridge. There was a thread I read on thcfarmer from a user who had success with that drying method.

Curious if anyone has tried this. My next harvest is coming up when I am going to be away for a week. So my options are going to be to either leave the plants growing at the end of the flowering cycle for a week unattended which means they will not be watered and I am not around in case of fire/emergency/whatever which I'm not keen on or chop and then dry over the course of the week I am gone. I put my hygrometer in my fridge and it was about 40F with 40% RF. Thoughts on fridge drying? Have you done it? What's the best way of doing this?
Seems like you want to have large branches, in paper bags laid flat.
