Drying in freezing conditions.

Just running this setup by you…
I have to dry in my garage and it’s been -5 to -8C at night outside so probably slightly warmer in the garage but still sub zero.
Now I’ve heard that there’s advantages to drying colder but not this cold obviously. While it will slow down mold it will also slow down the enzymatic processes which occur in your buds when drying under optimum temps & humidity.

I’ve just harvested and hung three plants in a 1m x 1m x 2m tent, I’ve included a small oil filled electric radiator with a thermostat and a fan for air circulation, and cracked the door and all the ports/openings on the tent & tried to regulate the environment to be about 10-12C (still a bit cold perhaps?) and 50% rh. (See pics)
I do have three thermometer/humidity gauges in the tent at different positions (hung relative to the plants) to get an average picture of what’s happening.
However it feels hotter than 10C I’m there and as the heater is directly beneath the plants I was concerned there might be a better way to do it?? If any one wants to take a look and share some advice?

If you can put foam between tent and ground. I'd run my intake to the house if garage is connected and do my best to insulate tent with foam, blanket. Try to prevent condensation. Looks good

12c-50% isn't too bad imo, atm it's 14c-58% in my drying tent, i had to make a few adjustments it's freezing cold here to.

You could try closing a couple of vents to raise the temperature and humidity a little, a blanket over/around the tent helps, a electric blanket underneath the tent helps, try aiming the fan at the heater to get more heat off it.

You don't want the fan blowing directly onto your buds, indirectly only.

Thanks for that. Yeah the ambient humidity is about 75%-80% which is pretty high for cold weather. When I’ve experimented with closing the door etc… the humidity in my the tent dropped to 30%!!! (That was with no bud in there though to be fair)
At present having the door cracked and vents open the amount they are in the photo, is keeping it balanced around 50-55%. Or at least I hope it still is when I check it this morning.
Not sure if it’s clear from the photo but the fan is oscillating in the air underneath the plants and basically pointed at the heater.
