Drying and Curing

Alright so the buds off my 6 plants are on a screen drying for 5 days and the room temps are 70-75 humidity 45-50 straight dark. What i am curious to know is that right now they are crispy when i give them a light squeeze but the stems are still not snapping which i believe that they are still slightly wet inside. In a few days when i move them to jars are they gonna become nice and soft or i have to put something like a leaf of lettuce in the jar?
Thanks

If you vape, you're gonna want your buds very dry before begining cure...if you combust, they don't have to be that dry...but when jarred, be sure to check for returning moisture within a few hours of sealing ....dry more if present....ya sure don't any any mold to show up....

mold is not my problem so far, but are they buds gonna be soft and fluffy from being in the jars for a week or they are gonna just stay this crisp. i want them to be nice and soft like a pillow, so when broken down no crisp ..

Nononono the dry parts will re-constitute in the jars in fact, if you see moisture inside the jars, take your buds back out for a day and let them dry out again. The curing process in a nutshell... seal them up until moisture seeps out from the middle of the buds, then open the jars till they get dry again, seal it up - gets moist - uncap - gets crispy -seal up - gets moist.... once a day for the first week, less frequently after that.

i only dry til the bud itself gets a little crispy on the outside and still moist inside then straight to the curing jars it does eventually get really moist but i just take the buds out of the jar and put them back a couple times a day for the first few days i enjoy looking at them while i do it too..i have dried til the stem cracks but for me thats way to long it ended up being too dry for my liking.. the bud will burn slower and have much more appeal to it from my experience

AT THE END OF THE GROW WHEN I HAD ONE MORE WATERING TO GO I TOOK A CLOSE LOOK AT ONE OF MY PLANTS AND SAW A SEED OR TWO INSIDE OF ONE OF THE BUDS, I GOT SO PARANOID THINKING THAT IT POLLINATED MY WHOLE GROW. ONCE I SAW THAT BEFORE IT GOT TO LATE I CUT THEM ALL DOWN FOR TRIMMING AND THANK GOD IT DIDN'T EFFECT ANY OF MY PLANTS BUT I STARTED TO SEE IT HAPPENING. I DON'T UNDERSTAND BUT ITS SO HARD TO PAY ATTENTION TO ONE GOD DAM BALL THAT CAN RUIN YOUR WHOLE SHIT. HOW DO GROWERS HANDLE THIS WHEN DOING OVER 50 PLANTS ?? WHATS THE TRICK AROUND THIS BECAUSE THIS GOT ME SCARED.

its the second day my buds are in a jar. i opened them up a few times today and took them out the jar and replaced them closed and back to the dark room. i haven't seen any moist on the walls of the jar, but the buds are still crispy. i am hoping by the end of the week or so they will soften up just like i used to by my weed, nice sticky and soft. someone on one of the threads said that he puts a leaf of lettuce into the jars? is that necessary ?
