Droopy Sapling?

Hello everyone. Im not sure if this is any beginning symptoms to something but today when i went to check on my sapling she was lookin' kinda down compared to her previous sprouting days. Also she's getting to be a darker green; Maybe she is just getting to big and growin' up nicely?

I've been watering her about every other day; when i do water her i water until i see the water come out the drain holes. I don't know if maybe im over watering her or maybe the heater fan she is in front of is too much but the fan hasn't been a problem before now. I always check the soil before watering too; I place my pinky as far as i can into the side of the cup and usually it's very lightly moist but not damp. Am i watering too soon?

Here are some comparison photos from first sprout (day 5) then a day 6 shot and then a day 8 shot (Today)

Your fine, its just growing. Way to small to worry about drooping leaves right now. That is a lot of watering in my opinion but I don't know what your type of medium is. If anything I would have only watered maybe once after that first initial soaking of the soil before you put in the seed. Now misting the soil from time to time I would suggest if the top layer of soil is getting dry but not under it. Just enough to get it wet.

The medium is "Ferry-Morse Organic seed starter mix" "contains 78-82%sphagnum peat moss, 18-22% horticultural perlite, less then 1% lime for PH balance and wetting agent"

It's a really airy medium; hence why I havn't been to concerned with over watering. Especially with my heater fan drying it quite a bit.

And the Strain is Original Amnesia.

Thanks a ton for the info though!

Seconded, in that stage you only need very little water, just enough to moisten the roots. You want your medium to get a little dry between waterings, this will make the roots grow stronger as they stretch out in search of moisture. I give my seedlings about a shot glass or so of water right at the base of the stem about every 3rd day. Best of luck!

Oh yeah, check the link in my signature. How to videos from master growers for first timers. Read, watch, study, plan, and act. Knowledge is power.
