Droopy Leaves After I water

I am not sure if I have a problem or not, hope someone could give me an idea if I do or not. All the girls look healthy and good, only problem I have is right after I water them they get droopy and sad looking. I have them in MG planting mix, with time release. I have kept an eye on my ph and it is at 6.8/6.9 right around there. I wait till the leaves start to droop a little and pots are light, and my water meter is down to 1. They started flowering at about 30 days old and now have been flowering for about 2 weeks. This isn't a new problem they did it during veg also. But they always perk back up and look great. I just now started feeding them a little. But the problem has not changed, I do not think is a nute problem or anything but I could be wrong. I am wondering if that is a sign the pots are too small? Not sure. I have a few in bigger pots and it still happens. So here is a few pics, and you can see the ones that just got watered and the ones that didn't. Any input on anything would be great. Ph levels? They look good though I dont see anything wrong maybe too much water..

I think you're setting yourself up for nute burn with time release fertilizer in your soil and you feeding it also. Time release soil makes it hard to accurately judge how much fertilizer is in your soil at any given time.

Well......I have only feed a few of them once, and they are not the seeds I paid for they were the bag seeds. The seeds I paid for from DrGreenthumb I have not feed anything yet. But Time release only last for so long, I have done my homework and you do need to feed the plants at some point and that is usually during flowering. You can not count on the time release alone because it will run out. If anyone agrees with me I would love to hear it, also if you don't I would love to hear it. Fun to bounce ideas off each other! The best thing you can do is make sure the soil is of good composition and drains well. As long as it is draining well and dries out after a few days you should be good. I can tell your keeping your ph balanced- they look nice. When you repot to larger containers (you should now if you are flowering to let the roots expand) you should definately stay away from the slow release ferts. Ive had nothing but trouble with that crap and it messes with ph and creates hot spots in your soil which burns roots. The drooping is a sign that the plants are losing turgor pressure because they cant transpire. This is usually due to the plant being waterlogged. If this is the case the next step will be root rot. The plants will also droop when your lights go off in a hydro setup as the humidity raises significantly. Are your controlling your humidity?

Thanks for your reply, I am not watching humidity, and will buy a meter asap, I do not believe my humidity is a problem but I could be wrong. As far as pot size, could that be why leaves droop when I water? Thanks again.

add some H20 hydrogen peroxide to your solution
it adds oxygen which helps root rot and kills bad bacteria

So........are you saying you think that is what my problem is? Or that is a solution if I figure out that, that is my problem? Thanks

they actually lookf ine, jus been watered so obviously they lose uopper strength to suck in some wtaer, its normal

I'd check my soil drainage, repot to bigger pots & stay away from time release shit

OK.....that has also been a thought of mine, but if you look at the pics, does anything else seem to be wrong? Like the guy said before you and that is what I have been wondering, Is that normal after watering for the leaves to droop? If so I might have nothing to fix at all, I don't want to change things if they are fine, and the drooping is normal after watering? Anyone else..........do your plants do that right after you water? I see a lot of people looking, and I assume you all water your plants, at least I hope you do. LOL.....So if not too much trouble please take the 2 seconds and let me know if your plants wilt after being watered!!! Thanks!

Mine drooped after watering especially before I replanted into 1 gallon pots. The bigger they got in the cups they were in the more they drooped.

Your plants look too big to still be in those cups. Their roots are cramped and having to work too hard to drink the water. Repot them to gallon pots and watch what happens. You should notice a huge difference in how your plants react to water after repotting. They do look healthy now but help em out and give them room to expand.

Thanks, I think that might be the issue......I wondered if they are in too small of "pots"......they aren't cups, lol.....but the pots are all between about 1 gallon and 2 gallons. Anyone else any thoughts??? Thanks again everyone.

I got told that when the top leafs droop after watering / feeding that its bringing the water/food to the top and it can also meen to much water

rule of thumb 1 Galon pot for every foot of growth

I keep the temps in the room right around 75......as far as watering I only water when it is dry to the touch, the pot is light, and my water meter is down to 1. Usually about 1-2 a week, just depends, I have no water schedule just when plant needs it. I also have tried letting a few plants start to wilt from lack of water and they still do it when I give them water. Thanks!!!

Yo... It's pretty normal I would say as long as it recover within a day or so. It happen because watering compacts the soil and make the roots harder to absorb oxygen. What I suggest is that you plough the soil with a stick or anything by making a few deep holes (be careful not to damage the roots when you poke the soil)... Hope this helps...
