yea...i think my drainage was pretty crappy. i drilled some holes in the bottom to help it out. that wouldn't damage roots severely would it?

Probably - that's where most of the roots are. Get a proper plant pot with correct drainage holes and repot it. Shouldn't be in a see thru container anyway!
 
the container is pink. the lighting is weird, i'm just now figuring out this new camera. i had holes before, but they were just way too small and kinda covered up w/ plastic. as for potting, clay is awful, right? i'm off to the store.

Well you want a balanced soil mix without too much clay in it. Clay is fine and makes the soil 'compact'. Also stay clear of that dreaded Miracle Gro with fertiliser capsules, get some nice peat based Multi-purpose compost with added John Innes if you can. No fertilisers capsules!
 
i mean like a clay pot, the container. i heard they dry out really bad. i bought plastic.
 
any guesses at what % indica/sativa this one is? it's bagseed.
