I have a 10 pot dripper system with clay balls,a few days ago i put 10 clones in an in hours they were all dead,it looked like the leafs had given up an droped down,so i take 10 more clones of my mother plant in soil, let em root in 1 inch root roit cubes them put em in 3 inch cubes then put em in the system turned it all on light, fan, dripper system,2 rvk out take fans, had the 400w hps 2ft 5 inch away to start.an in hours they died like the 1st lot.any 1 no why,i think it,s the light i think i took em from under the flouresent to early

Start with your light several feet above them. WHat are using in your solution? What kind of fertilizer? How often are you running your drip lines? Do they immediately begin to droop? If they die that fast it almost sounds like something is poisoning them.

It,s all my fault i need 2 keep em under the flouresents till they root out the 3 inch rock wool cubes then put em in me system, the power of the light is to strong for young clones with the new roots,i called in me local hydrponincs shop an the bloke in there told me,never grew it like this b4 i was just sticking to soil, but wanted to move on to hydroponic growing

dont let these issues keep you from hydro bro, once you get it going you will dump the soil, i dont know what kinda dripper you had, but since the roots werent pertruding through the cubes it wouldnt be able to drink unless you have your dripper directly ontop of the cube, also watch your watering schedule you dont wanna drown the roots, in those rockwool cubes if they are always soaked there will be on oxygen in there for the young roots
