I am falling over myself to get more info on this strain. Has anyone tried it? Seen it? Grown it? It is an heirloom sativa that looks wild and tasty. Barneys is the provider and seed city offers them. Should i jump on them? Theyre not too expensive.

Oregon Purple Thai x Panama Red. Supposed to be trippy. I almost bought some but am holding off buying more strains till I get thru what I have.

From everything I've seen they take forever to finish and it will be the most larfy bud you have ever seen. I'd think some of the pure sativa's from Aceor Cannabiogen would be a much better choice.

If you like it try it out, prob won't get your money out of it though. 98 days to flower for some popcorn buds, Surely it's some exotic bud though, would be cool to grow for the novelty and personal stash
Looks pretty cool to me

Could spend 100 days to grow this too, almost look like it was outdoor or revegging or something1580543295255.png

its a pain in the ass to grow indoors if you have low ceilings. flowers are larfy, it stretches forever, and takes forever to finish. definitely not a strain to grow for profit. but if you like sativas its definitely worth a run. the effects are pretty distinct in comparison to other sativas.

My experience with the Grinspoon is that it is originally from Northern China mountains. Grows best in soil don't need high tech ph neutral. Water only. Feed by foliar spray. Bat guano tea to flower. 175 days flower and ....well you'll see!

I wonder how this would mix with the freakshow :D That leafy form from grinspoon combined with the leaf frostiness of the freakshow could end up in lots of crystaly leaf. Both claim to have an unique sativa high, so they could mix well in that regards also. If you could get it to stretch and make lots of new leafs during flower and flower for the length of grinspoon, that could mean that you could be able to harvest some of it continuously after it had flowered a certain period, because trichomes in leafs tend to finish up faster than on buds. I doubt it would make much bud tho

Im sooooo temped to try this, but i think it would be too big of a project :/

I had one stretch up past the roof of my garage I hacked about 2 feet off and 3 weeks later it 5 feet higher and bushy. Unreal

Sounds like an interesting project. If you got the patience I say go for it.
Its just that if i were to grow a bunch of these, it would most likely mean that i cant grow as much as i want to smoke(i dont have tons of room), and also i prefer more of the indica leaning stuff most of the time. This sort of pure sativas is more like a delicacy i prefer in certain situations.

I did just pollinate one bud of amherst sour diesel with freakshow, and im making more freakshow seeds as well. Also i have cuttings of these and im planning on making feminised freakshow seeds, and also use that feminised pollen on triple g and/or maybe gorilla breath i got coming.

The freakish leaf mutation should not emerge in F1 crosses at all to my current knowledge and only little mutation in F2. But im more after the unique terpenes and likely i will also mix the amherst and gorilla freaks later and see if some funny stuff comes out that would still be relatively normal and make good yields and veg faster than these regular feakshows :)
