Day 1 and 2 of grow. Used the paper towel method inside Ziploc bags. Germed about 80 seeds of Dr. Greenthumb.
40 or 50 goldmine, 4 of Iranian Cindy 99, 4 of Iranian Diesel, 4 of Iranian Chemdawg, 4 Of Iranian Bubba Kush, and 4 of Iranian G 13.

The Cindy 99 was straight up poor germination. The G 13 was as well.
The Goldmine was 100% germination.

Once soaked for a day and a half I put them into seedling soil in small deep cubes.

I used T5 Sunblaster lights that rest on Sunblaster hoods over sturdy trays.
Once they're germed I put them in three inch square pots.
Scratch the earlier mention of putting them in small deep cubes.
I can fit 15 3 inch pots to a tray.

.

Jake I'm interested in how the Iranian cross lines grow and smoke - I've been reading their descriptions for years but I've never come across a grow log.

I've grown out Doc's Big Laughing, The Dope, Endless Sky, G13, GG, Headband, Jazz & Cheese. Ordering Blue Dream and Sour Diesel this summer for a winter grow.

Thanks.

I made a cross of his pre 2000 Endless sky x Iranian short season in early 2000s still run it now I call it skidder trail because thats where we grew it back in the day. His endless sky was killer in the mid late 90s he lost that cut in a fire if i remember right.

Here's day 4 about.

Day 48. Repotted them into 4 inch pots.
They should've been outside already but priorities, ya know.

id love to know what you thought of the Headband.

id love to know what you thought of the Headband.

Headband was my go to strain for what seemed like a year, it was a good producer and I had lots.

No "White Out's" with HB but it was a very relaxing stone, something that you could smoke in the day or night.

For me Blue Dream was a more intense high, but Headband got the job done.

There's many poor reports of Doc's stuff not sprouting well the last 6 months or so........... he tried to sell the entire business a few years back and had no takers. I also think there's some health issues going on within the family and he's just not updating stock regularly anymore. So high prices and poor germination mean reduced business and seeds sitting around longer.

My last purchase was Turkish Cookies and 75% didn't sprout. I'm done with him.

Looks awesome.wish I could have this many babies. Would be able to smell this from a mile away at my place when all flowered. Even though I wouldn’t complain
