Well there seems to be some debate on riu about DGT's F35. The doc is known for being the best of the best so i am sure that this strain will be no different. The claim is that they will be flowered between 35-45 days so lets see if that is the case. Now i am running a 1000 watt air cooled hood, 400cfm in line fan, 400cfm phresh filter, roots organic soil, and general organics linee of organic nutrients.
My only decision i have to make is whether or not i want to set up my scrog screen. what does everyone think? ill let this be a readers choice. FYI when i asked the doc how they would perform in a scrog environment he wasnt sure so maybe im one of the first to try...but that may not be a good thing either.
so lets hear what you guys think let me know what should i go with!?!?!

ok sorry for the lac of updating i was going through some difficulty getting my new operation to run smoothly.... but now its all fixed and working a lot better. SO, im on week two of the grow of F35 up to this point i have had terribly slow growth but im gonna blame that on the lack of humidity i had up until today but i got a big ol humidifier that brought me up to 40% earlier and is now almost stable at 60%. before it wouldnt go passed 16 lol. but any way as the day went by i literally watched the girls grow they were so happy and i will take some photos to post once they are photo worthy which should be in the next few days!!!

I'm glad to see you're trying Dr. Greenthumb's Freedom35! I first saw it in a High Times Magazine and have been very curious about it ever since. I looked into it and I ended seeing a lot of debate about the strain itself and the Dr.
I would def buy some if they turned out to be what they are supposed to be. I would also do a grow report too.

I was planning on going with General Organic's BioThrive line. How well does it work for you?

I'm pretty sure you can only get his seeds directly from him. (No seedbanks) drgreenthumb.com

yes drgreenthumb.com

But thanks! ya im super excited to be doing this especially a newer abnormal strain like this. i am using the bio line as well and i really liked it in my last grow except right at the end of flowering but im gonna figure out if that was something i did or if its the nute. im gonna guess it was my fault though

I saw your thread about the line and posted over there. If Freedom35 is prime for harvest between 35-45 days I would buy it for breeding. I think it would be pretty cool to cross it with a heavy yielding strain to get heavy yields and a short flowering time. But anyways I'm subbed for the grow man! Let's see what these bitches can do! :hump:

now if you are curious where plat 1 is welllll the fact that i was a little lifted when i transplanted them had an affect on it as well as the troubles with my grow room but i have another to put in its place that should be popping up any time now.

That sucks one died but at least you got another for its place! How's the humidifier working for you? Have you noticed any changes?
Plant's 2,3 and 4 look nutrient burned. How many teaspoons/milliliters are you feeding them per gallon of water?

$15 per seed is a bad loss but $100 per seed is like slitting a vein. I would like to see how Freedom 35 turns out but I think it will hover around 12% THC and take around 45-days.

the humidifier is awesome its the best one i found yet its giving me 60% not that its dialed in and at 75 degrees. wen i look in the tent it is literally foggy haha and they are burned from having 16% humidity for a week in a half at least thats what i think because i havent even gave the, nutes yet.

Losing a $15 seed is shitty. The Freedom35 is $150usd for 10 Fem seeds. If a strain suites the grower and the growing conditions, it can be priceless.

Glad to hear the humidifier is working good! The soil you're using has nutrients so it is possible that it could be too hot for the plants at this age. I don't have any experience with that soil but that's just my thoughts. Regardless I'm excited to see where this goes :leaf:

thanks im excited too! and ya the soil does have some which could have done that as well. and i just raised the lights funny u say that as a precaution in case that was hurting them as well. i dimmed my 1000 watt down to 500. yes its still over kill but i wanna get this tent running right because it will eventually become a sog or scrog tent
