i got G13 northern lights for free once and it was femmed. it grew awesome and had awesome buds. they tasted and smelled like candy. if i were you i would get a better breeder then g13 but stick with the northern lights if it sounds good to ya. its a great strain.

So it doesn't put off a mary jane odor Cyproz? Also how long did you veg? under what? and what was the yeild? Thanks

I've heard nothing but good things about NL, especially Sensi and Dr Atomic. Sensi is mad expensive, so i want to go with Dr. Atomic. From what i've read NL is a good stone, with little odor while grown and some good yields. I plan on using the scrog method i believe. I'm refering to the "screen" method so all the buds get uniform light. The plant on http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/dr_atomic/Atomic%20Northern%20Lights.htm looks great. Probably vegged for 3-4 weeks, what would you guys say? Have a better strain to suggest no problem, advise is always welcome.

The G13 labs NL looks decent but it has skunk #1 in it. I don't know the skunk #1 effects the budz. I'm not sure the difference. Sensi seeds is pure indica NL #1 genetics, i'm guessing this is the pure stable pheno? Dr Atomic says its 14-20% sativa causing the lingering high. I'm just trying to get the Best Northern Lights genetics possible.

It really depends upon which NL you would want. They are both stable, legit NL.. The Northern Lights #1 is the original 100% heavy Indica and Northern Lights #5 is the more recent version. Northern Lights #5 was created in order to increase it's yield and vigor under artificial lighting while still maintaining it's original characteristics. I have smoked both and I personally prefer #5 because it's slightly less couchlock and has a more complex high.
