im 1 month into flowering an i think everything is looking pretty good. i just upped my wattage from 168 to 420 but is it too late to really improve the quality or size of my buds

oh ya ive only got 2 plants, soil grow

no no you won't hurt yields... adding more light is beneficial

just make sure temps stay in a good range and you might have to water more frequently if they are going to photosynthesize more but the plants will let you know

usually the buds put on most of the bulk in the 7th and 8th week flowering.

ya im not worried about heat i got a big fan an central air so i can temp my temp stable easy. but if they bulk up at week 7 or 8 hopefully ive got enuff time to get some real improvement thanks bro

Ya def not a problem adding more lighting late on. Can only get better :)

Pretty nice from just the 168w though (i assume these pics were taken when the plant was only getting 168w)
Can't wait to see them under 420 :p :)

ya when those pics were takin it was just with (4) 42watt cfls...when i was veggin i also had (4) 2ft 23watt t5 tubes HO but after they started growing alot during flowering it took up to much room and i couldnt have the 42watts as close as i wanted

so i decided to do some rearranging and ive got my t5's back in as a sorta side/underside lighting so hopefully it'll help some of those popcorn buds plump up a bit:hump:

Heres some pics from today 4 ya...when im baked i could just hangout an take pics allday somtimes haha :joint:
lol i hear that, Hey its good for you & the plants though. :) Well not so good for the plants if you like to mess with them lol :p

I would go get a x30 radio shack magnifier and check the trichomes. Once you get to know a particular strain you won't need a magnifying glass or anything, when there ready they almost give off an entirely different appearance. :p

clear trichomes = not ready
cloudy trichomes = getting closer
amber trichomes = harvest time

When about 1/3 of your trichomes are amber is when its time to harvest, not on first sign of ripening.
