Double harvest?

Hey fellas, So bout a week ago I cut the top/main cola in an event to generate some funds and smoke some better weed ha. H ave never done a double crop but I do kno I pulled the cola a bit early hoping that the rest will finish better. Will the rest finish better? Was this worth it ? Any advice is appreciated thanks

I was watching a thread a couple days ago, and a grower said he's been doing this for over 20 years. Taking the tops first and letting the bottoms finish with more light.

Yes of course. It is a common practice to take a few cuts early. The rest will mature and fatten up as a result of the main cola being chopped. Ive found that in 9-10 week strains its not worth taking meds before week 8 or so. And watch for signs of stress and possibility of herming~ some strains don't react well to main stalk being cut. Thanks guys any suggested finishing nutes I should use? Having been using Mexican guano,kelp meal, alaskin fish and worm castings for veg and indo guano, molasses, and green light super bloom for flower. Starting to get in the low 50's at night so the GDP traits should start showing soon. No real sign of worms been real diligent with the BT spraying so I'm gonna let it ride til the weather gets shity
