Double carbon filters question?

Greetings my fellow growers my name is Flodas.

Im thinking of buying a 800m³/h outline fan. I got two carbon filters thats 400 m³/h each. My question is if its possible to connect them both in a Y pvc pipe and still get the same effect from the filters then to connect them both seperatly in a 400m³/h outline fan? / Happy smoking Flodas

Seprate would be better but either way you want your fan slightly stronger than what the filter is rated at
