Dog bit my other dog, any suggestions

Hey i have a american bulldog and a american staffordshire and the bulldog bit the stafford, its in the inside part of his thigh the extra skin, and now theres a decent sized cut, what should i do? its not dripping bleeding, but there is a bit of blood.

depends on the cut how deep and long if its in a place on the dogs leg then stiches probably wont hold if you think it will wotk get some butterfli bandages for it clean it really well and shave off the hair around the cut so the bandages will adhere to it.p.s i own staffies ive used this before it works good u can use some neosporin to keep down infections

All they're going to do is give it stitches, so IF it definitely doesn't need them (i.e. a small cut that will heal on its own and not cause the dog an unnecessary amount of discomfort - theoretically there's a reason the other dog bit it), then you're fine. But if it's in a lot of pain (and it will let you know if it is) and the cut is pretty bad, you know what to do.

put some table sugar in the wound.

Keep the wound clean as best you can and check it through out the day. If it appears deep enough to require stiches take your dog to the vet asap.

yea if its not a big cut just clean it and keep it clean. make sure your bull knows never to do that again..

bro its a dog they were made to survive strays are always fucked up and dont go to the vet hes going to be ok
