Does this look like a cal/mag deficiency?

Both my Frisian Ducks are showing these symptoms. I might have fixed it since I started using Calmag a few days ago.

But if it's something else I'd like to know of course.

Kinda resembles thrip damage.
I do have mild thrip damage on all my plants, I spray weekly. But that damage mostly looks like small white dots. Can thrips also cause necrosis where the leaves die, have spots, brown edges, etc?

My thrip damage on some leaves looks like this example (From Google)

Not sure if they can cause necrosis, as I’ve had thrips once, and didn’t notice it get that bad. If you’re vegging toss some DE all over the plant. (Diatomaceous earth)

I haven't found a good way to apply DE, I do have a bunch of powder, but it seems easier to spray with fatty acids, they should kill thrips just as effectively. Sometimes it's just hard to hit the undersides of all the leaves I guess.
