it's funny cuz i've never seen this written clearly in a guide or an educated post, but i've seen many people here (even reputable forum users) giving advice that may be understood as saying that flushing plants speeds up their ripening process, and once you've reached a certain point, flushing will ensure (or assist) that your buds will be ripe and ready for the chop in two weeks time.
is this true?
it makes just a bit of sense, because starving the plant of nutrients will make it stop new growth ("stunt", if you will), and forces it to concentrate on existing bud, and perhaps, being "scared" of starvation, the plant then "hurries" the finishing process. But that doesn't make much sense either.
i'd really like to hear more takes on this.
