does curing bud smell like dying grass at first??? lol

Ok, so i chopped down one of my females that ended up in heat shock. Basically she was dying, and if i didnt chop her i wouldnt have been able to salvage any bud at all. So i chopped and hung dry, n when the outside was crispy, i threw the buds into my mason jar.

So i go to burp the mason jar, and the motherfuckers dont smell like bud ,they stink like some dying grass. The shit is obscene, n im wondering if thats a normal part of the process. i mean, they didnt smell like bud in the 1st place because they were about 3-4 weeks premature, but i did test one out before i started the curing process, and they do get you high.

So, is this a normal scent to come off the nugs, or is this a "i may as well just fuckin dump it all" situation cuz of the way it smells??

Yea sometimes they will do that. Give it some time and they will smell great.

yep thats wont I gone in 2 jars in the other it smell kinda garlicly

Harvesting And Curing

The stalks should snap b4 uput them in the jar....u will get a an odd odor at first,till fully cured.

yeah i had some shit the other day that smelled like dead grass, it wasnt fully dried up yet, but once it cured for a few days it was actually pretty dank......

nice. thanks for the feedback guys. i was tweakin out over it cuz way back in the day when i was my dads slave n shit, he had me mowin his BIG ASS FUCKIN LAWn every week, n then dump out the grass over the back fence. The next week when i would mow the lawn, n go to dump the grass out, the week old grass would just fuckin REEK man, just brought back some memories n made me throw up in my mouth a little bit lol.

Curing is like composting ...jus controlled
