Does anyone know about fusarium wilt??

i have had a few plants that have something that seems to be called fusarium wilt. my plants in the past have had the same thing too. and trust me im not over watering them. about 6 months ago a friend of mine brought me a trainwreck mother plant from a so called despensary. well this thing was all sorts of sick. and before we knew it about 5 or 6 people had clones off this plant. thats when the problems started, the mother plant started to drop lower leaves, and bud pistils drop as well. this works its way up the plant at a rapid rate. and the plants lose their pungent smell and take on a green smell like fresh cut grass. this also spreads to other plants in the same room and can destroy a whole crop, it took one decent sized crop from me and at least 5 of my friends' crops. i did some research on this stuff.and it only affects annual plants. it came from the caribbean. and first attacked tobacco plantations in the southern u.s. states. and the only way farmers can get rid of it is cut the plants down burn them and plant elsewhere next season. i also found out that the cliniton adm. was going to use this aginst the columbian cartels to destroy all the coca plants used to make cocaine. but the u.s. decided not to use it because it could be precieved as a bio-weapon. so if anyone has had any of these symptoms please look at the pics i attached to see if this is something that has happend to you. P.S. these sick plants drop spores that infect other plants unless the area is sterilized. i hope this can help you because no-one knew what the hell i was talking about when it happend to me.

shit man, i would say give them a nice pHd (6.6-6.9) flush with ALOT of runoff (no clearex), then give them alight feed with your base nutrien...if that dont work i dunno man possibly the thing your sayin, but iv never seen anything like that in a indoor garden...

well i've grown for years and never had this happen before.but im moving to a new house so ill see if it goes there too. i grew in my garage last time and not a trace of it.

Fusarium gets into stressed plants. It's an airborne fungus. Once you have it, the grow is done. You have to spray the room down with bleach, rinse the system with bleach, throw the pots away (if they were in soil) and the soil too, as it is probably in there. It can come through ventilation also so, make sure your intake is sterile as well. Try this link. fusarium wilt is near the bottom. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688
